The beautiful village of Sveti Vlas is a traditional Bulgarian fishing village which has been transformed in to the jewel of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. The centre piece of St Vlas is the Dinevi Marina with its up market bars, restaurants, boutiques, impressive yachts and even more impressive motor vehicles. St Vlas also boasts three magnificient white sandy beaches complete with great bathing facilities, beach bars and a good choice of water sports. The Black Sea is non tidal and perfect for young and old alike to enjoy a relaxing swim.
The village centre is around 200 metres behind the beaches, with a quaint village square. Sveti Vlas has plenty of great value restaurants and bars, lots of shops and boutiques and yet is still largely unspoiled. Many of the restaurants boast excellent sea views around the bay.
St Vlas has many new apartment complexes in the marina area which also house excellent dining options - you will be welcome in all of them.
Not surprisingly the restaurants and bars in the marina are more expensive with costs nearing those paid in the UK, but the restaurants and bars in and around the village offer superb value for money. Its not unusual to eat a three course meal with wine or beer and maybe a brandy or two and have change from 25 Leva per head (about £10!!).
The village is approximately 25 km from Bourgas airport and a taxi transfer will cost 60 Leva(£25), which we can arrange for our guests. The local bus service is excellent with Sunny Beach costing less than 50p and Nessebar for under £1 each way.
The area is very tourist friendly, the locals will go out of their way to help. Not all speak fluent English, but they will try!
